If you are new to Programming Begin by visiting CS402.php; this works for both CS352 and CS402. Follow its instructions. You will be ready for the first day of class once you are done.

Attention Ubuntu Users Begin by visiting The Linux Support Page. Get your vi editor in shape. Then visit the sources.list page so you will be able to get the accoutrements shown here.

• The document installUNIX.php will help you to get Linux installed for introductory programming
• The document installJava.php contains instructions for installing Java and getting it working for CS404 and CS406.
• The document installWeb.php contains instructions for preparing your machine to do web development. This is necessary CS 352.
• The document installPython.php contains instructions for installing Python on your lappy so you may program in your native operating system.
• The document CS408.php will help you to get the TECS software suite installed on your lappy. Instructions are supplied for Mac and Windoze. The Mac instructions will work on Linux too.
