This is a spectacular plant that blooms for a long time in the spring. In 2006, I purchased another Sikkokianum, hoping for seed pod. Plant sex ensued and I have been rewarded with a huge seed head. I will try my hand at germinating these seeds this summer. If this is successful, I will have a stand of several dozen of these beauties each spring. This is a plant no self-respecting eastern woodland gardener can be without! They can be obtained from Tony's and Niche Gardens. Now run out and get two, and foment a little plant sex for yourself!
