Q taught Computer Science for three years at NCSSM from 2013 until the spring of 2016. He taught Python, Java, and developed the new Web Development course that is now the gateway course in Computer Science. He contributed greatly to the evolution of the Python and Java classes.

He was also the empresario of Ultimate Frisbee.

He now works at The Iron Yard in Durham as a back-end Python instructor.
