This is a terrestrial orchid that is reliably hardy in Chapel Hill (USDA Zone 7, ground does not freeze). I now own thee clumps of it and they are all doing very nicely. All bloomed in the Spring of 2006. They can be obtained from Tony's in Raleigh, NC. That is the source of all of my Calanthes.
