Pinellias, Late April 2005

Pinellias are easy-togrow aroids that will flourish in a semishaded to fairly sunny environment. They are highly deer-reisistant. They like to be kept in moist soil, and the forest floor with dapple shade where they are show here works well. They reproduce freely where happy. To limit their exuberance, deadhead spent flowers. I purchased the orignal plants from Tony's. Two pictures appear here; one is a closeup of the bloom.
